As much as I love beach destinations, I love beach properties too. Great accommodation definitely plays an important role in influencing your over all vacation experience. And that’s the reason every time we try to choose a property that has something different to offer.
During our recent trip to Goa, we stayed at a property in South Goa. This was our first time stay in South Goa as a family. Before this I stayed at Holiday Inn during my official visit to Goa, you can check out the review of this beautiful property here. A perfect place to Holiday- Holiday Inn Resort, Goa
South Goa is surely greener, charming and peaceful part of Goa where you can experience the authentic tropical charm of Goa. And when it comes to luxury properties South Goa can spoil you for choices. Most of the popular International brands of hotels are present in this part of Goa.
This time we stayed at a beautifully designed boutique beach resort, Beleza by the Beach.

We were 2 families with 2 young kids(3 years and less than a year old), so comfort and location was on top of our priority list. Beach property was the most obvious choice for us as we dint expected to roam around much. (Although quite opposite this time we did some sightseeing for a change). Enjoying our drive through the narrow lanes dotted with palm trees and paddy fields on either side, we entered this beautiful place nestled between the lush green tropical surroundings. The very first look of the property was soothing. Thatched roof, large wooden pillars and interesting stone statues made us curious to explore rest of it without any delay.

We spent 3 pleasant days at Beleza by the beach. Here is the review of the property.
Disclaimer: This is not the paid or sponsored review but based on our experience.
Location: Beleza by the beach is in South Goa overlooking Colva beach. This resort is around 20 kms from Panaji airport and it takes around an hour or so to reach. The best part is that you can see the beautiful Colva beach right from its boundary. The moment you leave the gates of the resort you are standing on the sandy shores of Colva, one of the most beautiful and clean beaches of South Goa. It’s a perfect location for those looking for a peaceful time amidst of serenity and nature, away from hustle bustle of city life.

Ambience – Like I mentioned earlier, Beleza by the beach is a piece of paradise enveloped in lush greenery. From one side the property overlooks bright and glistening paddy fields as far as one can see where as from other end its surrounded by the sea. Resort is aesthetically designed to exhibit the tropical settings with thatched roofs, wooden pillars, large balconies, open spaces, pathways lined by tropical trees and a big pool in the center overlooking the vast stretches of greenery. The faint music playing at the restaurant adds further to it. Décor also includes artistic wooden/stone statues placed at different places, which are really interesting; I specially liked the one where Lord Ganesha is upside down. Over all the resort exudes very pleasant and relaxing vibes, which helps you unwind and spend some quality time.

Rooms – We stayed in a superior category room. Rooms are spacious, well maintained and nicely designed. I specially loved the colorful and vibrant paintings on the wall, which are colour coördinated with the couch. Our room was at ground floor; it was well lit up, although it was overlooking the backside of parking space, which was not a great view to enjoy. Washroom was probably the most spacious I have ever seen in any other property. It was neat and well maintained, with a ceiling fan inside (Yes, I am not kidding)

Amenities – Like any other premium property, Beleza also offers most of the common amenities including basic toiletries (no bathrobes though), complimentary water bottles, tea /coffee maker etc.
Apart from this, resort has a picturesque swimming pool where you can enjoy most of your evenings. Our little one spent a great time in the baby pool. They also have a spa and salon, which offers range of therapies and treatments; services offered here are quite decently priced.
I learnt that there is no gym yet, but half of the property was under renovation so may be its coming up.
Property offers activities like nature walk etc. Their website mentions about live band performance but during our visit, it was not there, may be due to renovation or off-season.Another good thing is you get taxi easily once you inform the hotel staff; there are a lot of taxis parked outside the property. And yes I forget to offer the best amenity that’s direct access to the beach.

Restaurant & Food – Tentacao is the restaurant cum coffee shop, which over looks the pool from one side and paddy fields from another. They serve mix cuisine including Indian, traditional Goan, Chinese and Continental.
Restaurant serves buffet breakfast in the morning, although they don’t offer a large spread but options are decent including the live counter. It was a real joyful experience to have your breakfast with all the greenery glowing in front of your eyes. Sufficient to make your day! Restaurant staff was very prompt and helpful especially the restaurant manager Santosh was very courteous.
Service – They offer an excellent service. Room service was really fast and prompt on orders. Whenever we ordered anything we received it in maximum 10 minutes. The staff was pleasant and courteous.
Over all we spent quality time with our family at this beautiful property and would like to visit it again. Only regret is we could not spend enough time on the beach, as initially we were not aware that it’s so close to the resort. Probably next time this will be on top of our agenda.
