Hillside Cosmos was the second Hideck property I visited. After an amazing experience at Hideck luxury farmhouse two years back, my expectations were high. I must say, I was not disappointed at all; this farmhouse proved to be even better than the previous one.

Where is Hillside Cosmos Villa by HIDECK Located?
Hillside Cosmos Villa is located in the Kelamangalam village of Denkanikottai, Tamilnadu. A peaceful area on the outskirts of Bengaluru. It’s approximately 50 kms from Silk Board and takes about 1.5 hrs to reach the Villa.

How to reach?
Hillside Cosmos Villa is easily accessible from Bengaluru. With good roads throughout its a convenient weekend getaway.
The best way to reach is by driving. It took us around 2 hours from central Bengaluru to reach the villa. The drive is smooth for most of the route, with the last stretch becoming more scenic as you approach the hills.
How many guests can stay ?
With 3 spacious and fully furnished bedrooms with attached bathrooms, 2 additional bathrooms, large common areas with a sofa, an LED screen, and a fully functional kitchen, the villa can comfortably accommodate 12-15 guests.

This is the best part ! Although it’s located in a secluded location, this farmhouse offers all the luxury amenities you can think of.

Dedicated space for presentations and celebration – The party space is pretty cool with a screen, music system, and at night it can turn into a disco floor with colourful lights.
Special setup and décor for celebrations – they showed us the pretty decoration set up for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.
Outdoor activities like trekking – We went for a sunset trek to the nearby hill.
Landscaped garden with mango plantation – they have a beautifully landscaped garden, and mango trees add to its beauty.
Wifi – Free wifi for all the rooms and outdoor areas too
Parking space – ample space for parking
Food delivery from outside – They collect food orders from the nearby restaurant, and it was decent.

Our Staycation Experience at Hillside Cosmos Villa
After a scenic drive through streets lined with tall trees, sprawling fields, small hamlets and almost no one around, we were waiting in front of the tall gates, anticipating what’s inside.
As the guard opened the gates, we drove through the tiled path lined with mango trees with tiny mangoes on them. After 100 mtrs, there was this beautiful villa with a hill at its backdrop.
Within minutes of stepping into Hillside Cosmos Villa by Hideck, we knew this weekend wasn’t going to be about ticking off plans—it was about slowing down, unwinding, and enjoying simple things.
What we really loved were the large common areas curated for chilling with your loved ones and having fun. —Whether sitting in the garden, soaking in a slow morning at the porch, sipping wine by the pool, enjoying a movie at the theatre or just lounging around, this space naturally brings everyone together.

Sunset (or Sunrise) Trek to the Neighbouring Hill
We went trekking in the evening. It’s an easy walk with some slippery stretches in between. The villa staff accompanied us. We stopped at a viewpoint halfway through, as the sun was already setting down and we dint wanted to miss the sunset. But the view from this spot was magnificent too.
You can come here to witness the sunrise also. It’s a simple and refreshing experience, especially if you enjoy being close to nature.
Jacuzzi & Pool Time
After coming back to the villa, we headed straightaway to the Jacuzzi. My son was super excited to plunge and play there. It was very relaxing, especially after the trek. We enjoyed our jacuzzi time next morning too.
Then it was pool time. What can be a better ritual than relaxing in a jacuzzi and chilling in the pool? It instantly elevates the whole experience. Perfect for both relaxation and fun group moments.
Movie Night at a Private Theatre
The villa also comes with a private theatre, which made our movie night extra special. We simply loved this space, it’s spacious, plush, comes with recliners, and a projector screen. Watching a movie together in a cosy set-up just feels different when you’re on a getaway.

The morning started with sipping our tea in the garden while witnessing the sun rising from behind the hill. The hymns from the nearby temple added a spiritual touch to a beautiful morning.

This farmhouse has Two temples located in the neighbourhood. The space feels very calm and spiritual. We visited both the temples. The one right next to the property is built inside the rocks, and you must visit it.
