One thing I enjoy the most while traveling is experiencing unique stays that offer more than just a comfortable bed. For me, a stay should be an experience in itself – something that stays with you long after the trip is over. Recently, we discovered one such magical retreat near Bangalore, Wonderland by Jade, a stunning treehouse villa that has the charm of a dream come true.
We stayed at this unique farmhouse surrounded by a serene atmosphere over the weekend. It was a peaceful and fun experience. A perfect slow living experience that helped us bond and appreciate the beauty around us. In this blog, I am sharing the details of this property along with our overall experience. First Impression : Authentic & eco-friendly treehouse villa
As we drove closer to the property, the atmosphere gradually changed. The hustle of the city slowly gave way to winding roads dotted with lush green fields. By the time we reached the villa, it felt like stepping into another world. Just greenery and wilderness !
As we parked our car, we could spot horses grazing peacefully in front of the wooden treehouse built on the top of a huge tamarind tree. With the branches protruding from the treehouse, It looked like a picture straight out of a fairytale. Surreal, Mystic & Adventurous ! It had a unique charm that felt inviting and exciting. Our kids were super excited, too.
As we climbed the circular wooden stairs and entered the hall, we were amazed by the whole atmosphere. So warm & cozy Everything inside is made of wood, even the floor, making it eco-friendly and authentic.
Location of the Wonderland by Jade

Located around 40 km from the city in Shoolagiri hill Range, Wonderland by Jade is situated inside a gated community called Sanctity Ferme, making it Safe, Secluded, and peaceful. An ideal getaway for a family, friends, or even a romantic hideaway with your partner.
Wonderland by Jade – The Tree House Villa
The Treehouse is a two-bedroom villa that can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests (with extra bedding available on). The villa is beautifully designed to give you both comfort and connection with nature.
- The bedrooms are cozy, filled with natural light, and offer serene green views from every corner.
- The living spaces are open and welcoming, ideal for lounging, conversations, or even small celebrations.
- My favourite spots were the outdoor dining area and the walkway with a view of open fields, perfect for enjoying slow meals, great views, or watching a movie under the starry night.

Food & Dining experience at Wonderland by Jade
One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying meals in the open-air dining area. While having dinner, we also enjoyed watching a movie on their projector under the starry night. The property allows you to plan meals according to your preference – whether it’s casual snacking, full-fledged meals, or even special celebrations. There’s nothing like sipping a hot cup of tea outdoors while listening to the sounds of birds in the morning or enjoying a candlelight dinner under the stars at night.

The amenities at the treehouse include fresh towels, toiletries, a mini fridge (in the dining area on the ground floor) & WIFI. Some interesting activities here are
1. Natural rock pool filtering water using pebbles & rocks.
2. Bonfire area
3. This is a Pet-friendly property.
4. Picnic setups, movie nights, candlelight dining.
5. Horse ranch experience (available at extra cost).
6. There is a restaurant also just 100 meters from the villa.
7. The property garden also houses love birds, guinea pigs, and horses, which is an added attraction for kids.

The pricing for a per-night stay starts from ₹15,000 + taxes for up to 4 guests. The price includes breakfast & select curated experiences.
Things you must know before booking the treehouse staycation
Although staying close to nature in an authentic tree house is an experience of a kind. But there are certain things that you may know before booking the property. Here I have listed a few.
- Not suitable for Senior citizens or people with joint pain or other issues–That’s because you need to climb a fleet of circular and uneven wooden stairs every time you want to go up or down (Although there is another path with fewer stairs, too). If you want to access the second bedroom, you have to climb the stairs.
- Families with young toddlers need to be careful and keep a watch on the kids due to the same issues mentioned above. It could be dangerous if young kids are unattended.
- Being a treehouse, smoking and cooking are not allowed inside the treehouse (understandably due to fire hazard)
- Toilets and a washroom are situated outside the property. You need to step out and walk a few steps to reach the washroom.
- Being situated in an open field and surrounded by trees, the place is super windy. So don’t forget to carry a jacket just in case you need it.
- Don’t forget to carry mosquito repellent, as well as any other important medications that you may need.
Staycation Experience at Wonderland by Jade, Treehouse Villa
Our experience at the Wonderland by Jade was a memorable one. We stayed there for 1 night. We were 3 adults and 2 kids. Our kids were super excited to see the wooden house, especially the stairs that led to the second bedroom on the top.
During the evening, after relishing the hot pakoras, tea, and some chilli chicken, we all went for a short walk to explore the property.
As the sun started to set, the lights were switched on and the villa turned completely magical !!
Then we enjoyed a movie on the projector screen in the open, sitout where the dinner was also served. It was a relaxed and fun night.
Next morning, the place was absolutely peaceful with the sounds of birds and wind blowing freely. Our kids enjoyed exploring the area where love birds, rabbits, pigeons are kept along with the horses. While I spent sometime reading it the quite corner of the tree house.
Overall, we had a great experience at the property. A mix of cozy setting and adventure is what made it extra special.
