Recently, we spent a weekend at Dome Villas by Jade Hospitainment near Doddaballapur. Our experience at the property was nothing short of incredible. In this blog, I am sharing my experience and honest review of this unique vacation home to help you plan your next staycation.

Our experience: Staying at the Unique Hobbit-inspired Yellow Dome villa
29th Feb was my husband’s birthday, and I wanted to make it memorable. We decided to visit Dome Villas over the weekend.
The Yellow Dome
Our villa was beautiful, with three dome-shaped bedrooms, a spacious living room, an inner courtyard with a plunge pool, and a kitchen. The outdoor sitting area was my favorite spot. Sitting there, soaking in the beauty of nature, was a blissful experience.
As we stepped inside the villa, my son was thrilled to see the unique architecture. We were served with a welcome drink, followed by a delicious meal. After a sumptuous meal, it was time to explore the property.
Zen Garden
A self-sustainable forest-like garden within the property. A canopy of tall green trees, creating a tranquil space perfect for reading, meditation, or just a stroll. The property also had beautiful flowering plants and fruit trees. We plucked a few gooseberries and mulberries there.
High tea with a view
At 5 o’clock, a sumptuous high tea with fruits, sandwiches, cakes, cookies, and donuts was served.
Bonfire & barbecue under the stars
After chilling in the pool for some time, we dressed up for a romantic evening, a bonfire, and an outdoor movie screening. We were excited about the movie, but it was breezy outside, and they could not screen the movie. So we decided to play indoor games. We enjoyed uninterrupted family time with barbecue and Jenga, without screens, after a long time!
Candlelight dinner under the stars
While we were playing, the staff set up a beautiful dinner table decorated with roses and candles in the inner courtyard. Dinner under the moon and stars was the most romantic experience I had.
Floating breakfast
Another unique experience was the floating breakfast. We tried it for the first time. Sun, pool, and breakfast made the perfect combo.
To conclude, the staycation at Dome Villas allowed us to bond as a family and spend quality time with each other. I couldn’t have imagined a better way to celebrate my husband’s special birthday (leap year).
Pricing
The cost per unit is Rs. 26,999 + taxes for up to 10 guests. The package includes complimentary breakfast, bonfire, music & entertainment, movie under the stars, BBQ grill for self-use (we need to get the marinated veggies or nonveg), indoor & outdoor games, basic décor for special occasions, extra beddings & special dining experiences.
