Right in the middle of the concrete jungle and soaring skyscrapers, is a beautiful urban park, The central park. One of the most visited and filmed locations in the USA. Some of the main spots are Central Park Zoo, the mall, the ramble and lake, bow bridge, Sheep meadow, Belvedere Castle and The Metropolitan Museum of art. We loved Central Park, it was one of my favorite places in New York, although we could explore only half of it in half day. Read more about the best places to visit in Central Park Here.

    1. madhuonthego – India – Hi friends, I am Madhulika, my friends call me Madhu. A Marketing professional who loves to travel and explore the world. I have been bitten and smitten by the travel bug right from childhood n this love for traveling runs through our family. Madhuonthego is home to all my travel Experiences, Stories and Itineraries. I hope this will help you in some way or the other. Like many of the travel bloggers, I usually don't travel solo and I am not a backpacker either (though someday I would love to go through bag packing experience). I travel with my family or friends and love to treasure experiences ranging from luxury stay, spa, theme restaurants, adventure activities to budget trips. My dream is to travel around the world, so practically my wish list is never empty. I love to explore unheard offbeat destinations. So far I have been to 10 countries. Other than travelling I like to try out different cuisines and experience new restaurants. I am a vegetarian by choice. I love to shop. I hope my travel experiences will help you in some way or the other!

  7. Travelletters – Hi! I am Lena from Norway, a girl with a full-time job, a hubby, two teens, a cat, and a huge passion for travel. I love touristy stuff and am not afraid to say it out loud. I mean there is a reason that this stuff is so famous, right? My getaways consist of long weekends mostly in Europe and include historic sites, food and wine, culture and art, and of course some off-the-beaten-path corners. Occasionally, I will recommend a hotel, a tour, or a restaurant and my recommendations are always based on my own experience or experience of someone I personally know and trust. Happy travels and enjoy the ride!
    Lena says:

After visiting NYC three times there are still plenty for me to explore! Thank you for the great guide!
